Gayatri Mantra
ॐ भूर्भुवः स्वः । तत्स॑वि॒तुर्वरेण्यं॒ भर्गो॑ दे॒वस्य॑धीमहि । धियो॒ यो नः॑ प्रचो॒दया॑त् ॥
oṃ bhūr bhuvaḥ svaḥ tatsaviturvareṇyaṃ bhargo devasyadhīmahi dhiyo yo naḥ pracodayāt – Rigveda 3.62.10
The Gayatri mantra has been translated in many ways. It is dedicated to Savitr, the sun deity or the one supreme creator light (not the physical sun in our solar system, but the sun of truth in the spiritual heavens).
